South Africa
Our work in South Africa started in 2021 when we realised that there is a tremendous hunger for Bibles, this was followed by multiple requests for Bibles in South Africa. As a Church, we have been able to provide bibles for the homeless, hospitals, Prisons and Children’s homes and schools as requested. We have also been led to come to the rescue of the Homeless in South Africa regardless of race, religion and colour. According to the command of Jesus in Mathew 25 vs 35 – 40 to feed the hungry, thirsty, naked, sick and imprisoned. Currently by the grace of God we provide hot meals for those living on the streets. This includes people with physical and mental health issues, complex needs and substance use. We treat those we support with respect and dignity. As Lazarus Ministries National and International (LMNI), we realise that simple acts of kindness and love and by acknowledging their presence can make people feel valued and supported.
